The Hermes 3000 would be the keystone of my new, de-complexified life.

I would write down my experiences and thoughts, in the same way that Henry Miller, George Orwell, Jack Kerouac, and yes, even William Gibson set down their words. No pretensions, no flair, just describing my simple life as I lived it.

If I was an anachronism, so be it. If nobody ever read my works, if I never became a "hot" young writer, that would be okay.

My dedication to my craft would be fulfillment enough.
